About Us

Hi!

This is Dan and Julie with Tartan Turf LLC, Kilted Lawn Maintenance and Landscapes!

We are a husband and wife owned and operated business that loves working together on a daily basis!

We founded Tartan Turf LLC because we believe in providing reliable extraordinary services to all our local residents of Deltona, Lake Helen, Debary, DeLand, Orange City, and Sanford Florida. 

We are  Veteran Owned and Operated out of Deltona, Florida. Dan served in the United States Air Force at RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom.

We have two amazing kids that love to help with the business whenever they don't have school. 

Julie graduated from the University of South Alabama and Dan graduated from the University of Central Florida.

We worked at the Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Garden assisting in the renovations of animal enclosures and landscaping.

So to the most important question, "Why do we wear kilts"? 

It's a pretty simple answer:

• We are both of Scottish ancestry with a wonderful Scottish Clan, Clan Guthrie. We have a link at the bottom of the page to their official website if you are interested in anymore information!

• Dan has competed in the Highland Heavy Athletics for 10+ years and still competes at least once a year. Catch us games such as The Winter Springs Highland Games, Dunedin Highland Games, Ormond Beach Highland Games, St. Augustine Highland Games, and a few more out of state games.

• Kilts are much more comfortable than pants in this Florida heat.
